Flight Centre has promoted Careene Andrews to area leader for its corporate division. She will be responsible for the development and growth of all the company's business travel offices in the Wellington region.
Mechanical engineer Paul Hebberd has been appointed CEO of Hamilton-based Pacific Aerospace Corporation. He replaces John McWilliam who is now the technical director. Hebberd's aviation industry experience includes production and project management roles with British Aerospace and Westland Helicopters in Britain.
Approved Mortgage Brokers has appointed Dave Shatford chief executive officer. Shatford comes from Aon Risk Services (NZ) where he was general manager of their financial services division. Before that he was with AMP Financial Services for more than three years, most recently as national manager key accounts for the company's broker division.
Gaulter Russell has appointed two recruitment consultants. Erin May is responsible for clients in electronics, FMCG, and general sectors. She was most recently at Sony New Zealand where she held senior product and advertising management roles.
Tracey Ballantyne is recruiting senior marketing roles for FMCG and associated industry clients. Most recently she was the marketing manager at Kimberly-Clark New Zealand.
Consulting and IT services company, The Simpl Group, has appointed Gilles Rabaud as an information systems consultant. He has worked in the IT industry for more than 20 years and will be working with Simpl's major clients on strategic IT consulting projects in Auckland and Wellington. The company has also appointed John Jarvis as a senior knowledge management consultant. Over the past six years Jarvis has specialised in knowledge management and in developing management strategy. His previous roles were in the central Government and banking sectors.
Flight Centre has appointed Tracy Morton as its business improvement leader, responsible for driving improvement through more effective processes and systems. Morton comes from the company's corporate travel management company TQ3.
Forensic accountant Nick Paterson has joined financial intelligence specialists McCallum Petterson in Auckland. His experience includes investigations into the misuse of government grants and insider trading, as well as work with the Serious Fraud Office (UK) and in the enforcement division of the Financial Services Authority, London.
