Former orthopaedic surgeon Dr Harley Gray has been appointed to the Southern Cross Medical Care Society's Board. Dr Gray has spent most of his career at Auckland's Middlemore Hospital and served on the Board of Capital and Coast Health for two years.
Dr Helen Schofield has joined Merial NZ as marketing manager ruminant division. Dr Schofield was a practising veterinarian in Australia and New Zealand before moving into sales and marketing within the animal health industry. Dr Lab Wilson has been appointed technical product manager at the firm's ruminant division. Dr Wilson was previously with Merial Veterinary Technical Services.
Totem has appointed Samantha Lacoua as general manager of their Viaduct conference and business networking hub. She has just returned from 11 years in France and Britain where she managed hotels for the Groupe Envergure.
Law firm, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has promoted Julianne Sanders, to senior associate. Sanders specialises in commercial contracts, mergers, business acquisitions and securitisation.
Pam Smith has been appointed business development manager covering real-estate company Harcourts' central region.
