Joanna Bain, based in Auckland, specialises in environmental, planning, resource management and public law; Jo Ritchie, Auckland, advises on corporate and commercial law. She has advised on a variety of commercial contracts and mergers & acquisitions in both New Zealand and Australia; Anne Shirley, Auckland, advises corporate and commercial clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious issues including employment issues arising from mergers and acquisitions, employment litigation, restructuring, disciplinary investigations and restraints of trade; Jennifer Tunna, Auckland, specialises in restructuring and insolvency law; Marie Wisker, Auckland, specialises in litigation and dispute resolution; Angela Foster, Wellington, specialises in superannuation, KiwiSaver, managed funds and securities law.
Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) has recently recruited Dana Moran and Jeremy Gulson into their Water and Environment team. Moran joins in the Wellington office as a senior planning consultant. She has six years planning experience, and nearly four years experience working in sustainability policy and research for central government. With over 20 years experience in the spatial industry Gulson has helped a significant number of crown agencies and companies make use of Spatial information and technologies to improve their business performance.
Rebecca Morris has been appointed business development manager for Retail Arena Performance Solutions Ltd. Her extensive career in the IT sector includes, most recently, serving as senior client solutions manager for Symantec Global Consulting Services and previously as vice president US sales for Keylogix International.
Optimation has augmented its leadership capability with two new senior appointments: Alison Zuniga Silva has joined as client service delivery manager for Vodafone. She has over 10 years' experience in the service provider industry. Steve McDowall has joined as product and partner manager, responsible for managing key partner relationships with Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, F5, Fortinet and Check Point. He has over 20 years of ICT industry experience.
Mulitdisciplinary design consultancy, CPG (formally Duffill Watts and subsidiaries Tse Architects and Tse Valuations ) has promoted Peter McCombe to the position of Auckland architectural, planning and valuations manager and Scott Elwarth to the position of Auckland engineering manager. Steve Hawkins has taken up the position of general manager northern.
