KEY POINTS:
* Electronics company Actronic has made three senior appointments in New Zealand and abroad. Chris Lowe has been appointed as chief financial officer (CFO) position in Auckland. He has international experience with growth technology companies in senior finance roles, most recently with Navman as Group Financial Controller and previously Ernst & Young.
John Vaassen has been brought on board to develop Actronic's European business in the role of manager EMEA Business. He is setting up Actronic's first European office in The Hague. Kevin Lai has been promoted to the position of general manager Asia. He has been in a product management role for Actronic's main product line, Loadrite for more than 10 years.
* Donovan Boyd Communications has appointed Kelly Loney to the position of account manager. She previously worked as a journalist for Taranaki Newspapers and The Nelson Mail, as well as a media consultant for Adviso Media.
* Ted Armitage, who has been with CoveKinloch Consulting for four years has been promoted to operations manager. Ted is a Registered Building Surveyor and will manage all consultancy and project management work delivered by CoveKinloch Consulting.
* AIM Proximity, an interactive marketing agency, has appointed Janisa Parag to the position of strategic planner. She joins after five years on the client side with key roles within Telecom's Consumer Marketing and Marketing Insight divisions.
* New appointments have been made at Kensington Swan. Jessica Wiseman has been promoted to associate in the Intellectual Property and IT team. Dan Hughes has been promoted to senior associate in the litigation team. Ben Russell has been promoted to senior associate in the commercial litigation and insolvency team. Bridget Fleming has been promoted to associate within the employment team.
* DLA Phillips Fox has made three new appointments. Tim Matthews has been appointed special counsel. Dean O'Leary has been promoted to senior associate in the firm's Corporate and Financial Services team. Joy Campbell has become a senior associate in the firm's property, infrastructure and development team.
* Human Resource solutions provider Adecco Personnel Ltd has appointed Teresa Moore as Dunedin branch manager.
Teresa was previously Branch Manager at Tradestaff Group.
* Chapman Tripp's Auckland office welcomes Michael Moyes, senior Solicitor - corporate and commercial;
Simon Smith, senior solicitor - corporate and commercial;
Melanie Tollemache, senior solicitor - corporate & commercial.
* PROJENZ has appointed Shane Dale as a project manager based in Albany. Shane has extensive experience and skills in civil engineering and project management.
* Caroline Ord has been appointed executive secretary for Polar Distribution. She has previously held positions in the legal and charitable sectors. David Forman has appointed Linda McCarthy as business manager for Christchurch and the South Island. She was previously national sales manager/training development for Avonmore Corporate Training Solutions.
