CMC Markets, the CFD and margin FX provider, has appointed Kapil Thakkar to the position of sales executive. His previous role was with shipping company Maersk NZ, where he was exposed to foreign exchange, leading to his fascination with the markets. He decided that he wanted to extend his love of the markets to a career in the finance industry.
Dianne Lasenby has been appointed general manager of Auckland Netball Centre Inc. In 2007 she also was appointed to the role of manager to the Auckland Trust's Diamonds Netball Team and recently was manager of the Netball Auckland Waitakere National Championship winning team.
Auckland's newest environment law and strategy firm, ChanceryGreen, has appointed five new lawyers. Helen Andrews and Chris Simmons join as senior associates, and Alana Lampitt, Lisa Brooks and Kathleen Bell as solicitors.
