The Langham Hotel Auckland has appointed two new managers. Kylie Bowring is the hotel's new business development manager corporate and Kate Anderson is business development manager e-business. Prior to joining the Langham Anderson was online editor at Jasons Travel Media. Bowring was sales and marketing manager for Grand Mercure Puka Park Resort, Pauanui.
Mike Cosman has joined strategic health, safety and risk management consulting firm, Impac Solutions Ltd as general manager. Cosman was previously the national operations manager and chief advisor, health and safety with the Department of Labour.
Drake International has made two key appointments at its main Auckland branch. Talaga Toma is now national account manager for Fonterra. Toma has experience in logistics and change management. Vicki Kelly has been appointed executive contracting consultant. Kelly has worked with companies such as Air New Zealand and Mercury Energy.
Leighton Contractors has appointed Robert Jones as New Zealand operations manager. Jones was previously project director for the SH1: Northern Motorway extension project.
Maunsell Limited has promoted Michael OHalloran to the role of transport sector director. OHalloran has a background in leading transportation projects. Cushla Anich has also recently joined Maunsell as a principal consultant in the advisory services team. Anich joins Maunsell from Metrowater after five years in asset planning management positions.
Bain Hollister, formerly Technology Services Manager at Optimation, will be working with IT technology and services company Theta Systems Limited assisting in business development and the professional services practice.
