Flight Centre has appointed Jo Emerre and Nicky de Clifford product development managers for the Wellington and South Island regions, respectively. Their newly created roles involves promoting the products and services the company offers to retail consultants and providing a link between regional and national offices. Emerre and de Clifford have each spent more than five years with the company.
Nick Fitzgerald has been appointed by TPL Media as business development manager for Hospitality magazine publications based in Auckland. Fitzgerald was previously wine export sales manager for Schenker Global Logistics.
Design firm Chow:Hill has made four appointments. Former associate Simon Woodall has been promoted to director, Brian Squair, a member of the firm's architectural team in Hamilton, has been promoted to associate, architect Arthur Joe has also been promoted to associate. Landscape architect Bridgit Diprose, who joined 18 months ago from Boffa Miskell, has also been made an associate.
Marine Composite Engineering company, High Modulus, has appointed Nick Brewer as general manager, operations, to its New Zealand office. A former Royal Navy aircraft engineer, Brewer is a chartered engineer and a fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, with degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Design and Business Management.
