Bernard Duignan is the new general manager of New Zealand Sugar. He was formerly the company's sales and marketing manager, and replaces John Burman, who has been appointed chief executive officer of both NZ Sugar and Sugar Australia.

Paul Williams has become general manager of Maersk Logistics. He has more than 15 years' experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry in New Zealand.

Lukas Svoboda (pictured) has become chief technical officer of business solutions provider Orbiz. He was previously senior architect/analyst for Advantage Group. Lisa Harris, who has who has a marketing and events background, has been appointed marketing automation manager.

Chris Greive, Flight Centre New Zealand managing director, is relinquishing his role to take on a new position as regional director overseeing the company's North American and New Zealand operations. Senior executive Graeme Moore will take over as managing director New Zealand.

Craig Holmes has been appointed advancement manager for the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Auckland. He has held senior positions in engineering and strategic development at Clear Communications and TelstraSaturn.
