Member-owned health insurer, Accuro, announced recently that Ruth Colenso has been appointed chief executive officer. Colenso has extensive experience in the financial services industry, most recently at AXA where she was general manager marketing and financial protection.

APP Corporation (New Zealand) Limited, a consulting business specialising in project management, has appointed Hatish Padharia as project director. Padharia has a successful track record of managing a wide range of property and development projects in the UK and New Zealand.
Simon Hartley has joined Simpl Group as a solutions architect in the Auckland Software Services team. He has an extensive experience in systems design and development in corporate and consulting firms in both NZ and the UK. Most recently he has held the role of development team leader within a leading CRM vendor.
Cucumber Software has appointed Elizabeth Jenkins to the position of client manager BOP/Waikato. Previously Jenkins was the regional manager for Export NZ. She has also held IT project management roles with Lakes District Health Board (DHB) and ACC.
Auckland barrister David M Carden has been elected to the position of president of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand for a two-year term. He comes with significant experience in alternatives to dispute resolution having been a barrister for over 40 years and often chosen as arbitrator or adjudicator.
