Mark Donnelly has joined the Hamilton-based farmer co-operative, Livestock Improvement, as solutions design manager within the computer services group. Previously, he worked for Australasian-based travel IT company Saber Pacific as head of software development. David Gunn has been appointed as export development manager, within the Innovation Group of Livestock Improvement. Previously, Gunn held the position of MINDA product project manager within the information group and has worked for the company since 2001.

IT services company Unisys has appointed Glenn Bittle as partner, Global Commercial Industries New Zealand. Most recently Bittle assisted Fonterra Co-operative Group's establishment of a new IT application support model. Before that he was a partner at Deloitte Consulting, responsible for building its NZ SAP practice from 1995 to 2001 and then for the delivery of application outsourcing services to Telstra.

PlaceMakers has appointed Brent Powell as general manager - business systems. In his new role, Brent will be responsible for IT, supply chain and programme office management. He has more than 20 years' experience in IT management roles and has worked in the UK, Hong Kong and New Zealand. Before joining PlaceMakers, Brent was General Manager IT, at Pacific Retail Group and has also had roles at Farmers and Marks & Spencer.
