Matt Wilson has been appointed retail sales manager within the New Zealand Herald's newspaper sales department. He has worked within the Herald for the last six years in a variety of management and finance roles.

Ross McCarthy is the new chief executive officer of NZ Fasteners, which trades primarily as a stainless steel merchant. He joined the company in September last year as chief operating officer.

Rachael Cotton-Bronte has been promoted to New Zealand supplies manager for Hewlett-Packard NZ's consumer business organisation team. She was formerly supplies marketing manager. Juliana Moss is CBO channel manager, expanding her former position of alternate channel manager, and Suzanne Wheeler has been appointed retail account manager.

Stewart Washer has been appointed chief executive officer of Celentis, the commercial arm of life sciences company AgResearch. Also joining Celentis is Roy Savage, who has been appointed chief financial officer.
