Australasian law firm Phillips Fox has promoted three lawyers to senior associates in its Auckland and Wellington offices.

Resource management, environmental, building and public law specialist James Hassall becomes a senior associate in the property, infrastructure and development team in Auckland. James went into law after a career in banking and a number of years working in Japan.

Susan Hesp also becomes a senior associate in the property, infrastructure and development team, but she is Wellington-based. Susan previously worked for various Government agencies including Crown Forestry Management Limited, Department for Courts and Te Puni Kokiri (Ministry of Maori Development).

Adam Holloway, also based in Wellington, becomes a senior associate in the commercial dispute resolution team. Adam is part of the Phillips Fox team that recently successfully defended a claim against British American Tobacco for personal injury/product liability.
