Imagination has appointed Greg Billington as managing partner. Billington was managing director of VandeRoer Design in the 1990s. In his new position, Billington will be responsible for day-to-day management, as well as business and brand strategy.

Rachel James has joined Credit Recruitment (formerly CCC Personnel) to manage the temp desk. Vicky Bowmer has also joined the firm as a consultant with a background in accounting and careers advising in Britain. Cable Bay Vineyards has appointed Anthony Mills to the newly created role of general manager sales and marketing. He was previously European manager for Australia's Wingara Wine Group. Jane Anderson has been appointed as head of New Zealand Public Affairs and Brand. She was previously the communications manager at AMP Capital Investor.

Auckland law firm Gaze Burt has appointed David Asbury as a partner. Asbury was previously a partner with Sellar Bone & Partners.

Tour operator Southern Crossings has appointed Steven Pleciak as its general manager.
