Deb Struthers, formerly Wellington's national manager, ICT initiatives, has been appointed regional manager for Wellington and the South Island.
Andie Noon is the new business development manager at Corporate Traveller's Wellington office. She has more than 11 years' experience in the travel industry and worked most recently for American Express International.
Robyn Shearer is the new project manager for the national mental health workforce development programme, a partnership between the Health Research Council and Ministry of Health. She was last general manager of Mental Health Services in Taranaki.
Hamish Clarke is the new asset and property manager of YHA New Zealand. He was last property relationship manager, real estate, for ANZ. Mardi Neumann is the new community programme coordinator. She has worked for Routeburn Guided Walks and Queensland's Environmental Protection Agency.
Robert Bree has been appointed senior account director for the consumer brands division of Singleton, Ogilvy and Mather. He was last marketing director for Restaurant Brands NZ. Janine Aagaard becomes production manager. She was last in marketing for Tip Top in Auckland.
Vaughan Nankivell has joined software company Convergence as sales manager. He has held information technology management roles in New Zealand and the United States.
Joe Pope is the new chairman of IT services company Hosting & Datacentre Services. He has held senior marketing and management positions with Feltex, Wilson Distillers, and ACNielsen in New Zealand and Australia.
Bruce Proffit is the new business development manager of TQ3 Travel Solutions. He was last with BTI Travel where he was business manager.
Matthew Petherbridge is the new business development manager of Nelson-based corporate database company SQL Services. He is a former staffer of Nestle and Glaxo Wellcome.
Mark Apperley has been appointed dean of the University of Waikato School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. He was last chairperson of the department of computing at Waikato University.
Elaine Wainwright is the new head of the school of theology at the University of Auckland. She taught most recently at the Brisbane College of Theology and the Griffith University School of Theology.
David Josephson is the new financial controller of Flight Centre's corporate division. He was previously financial controller for ITG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Flight Centre.
Several new faces at Vector: Simon Mackenzie has been appointed group general manager networks. Bryan Crawford is group GM sales and marketing. Warwick Russell has been appointed chief financial officer. Peter Brown is GM corporate. David Tompkins has been appointed GM service delivery.
Denmark-born Anne Mehlsen is the new disabilities adviser for the Cerebral Palsy Society. She has been studying for her masters degree in Australian and Canadian literature full-time and will complete it this year alongside her work at the society.
Hamish Coney has been appointed marketing and sales manager of Auckland-based property company Melview Developments. He has spent the past three years in senior marketing management and development roles at Colliers International, and Stockland, in Sydney.
Marty White has taken the newly created role of environmental operations coordinator with Auckland City's water utility company Metrowater. He was last a pollution control officer for Auckland Regional Council.
