Colum Rice and Tim Ellis are new partners at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Rice is a senior practitioner in the transaction services sector and leads the transition and integration services team. Ellis is working in the financial management solutions practice.

New Zealand Milk, the fast-moving consumer goods division of Fonterra, has made three appointments to what it terms its global leadership team. Scott Eglinton is director, global marketing and strategy, and moves from the United States, where he was managing director of NZM Americas.

Ron Peake is chief information officer, and Dale Farrar is director, global human resources.

NZMP, Fonterra's "cow-to-customer" and ingredients division, has made Jackie Lloyd director, global human resources. She led the HR team for one of Fonterra's predecessors, the New Zealand Dairy Board.

Fonterra has made Australian Glen Petersen, formerly of Telecom New Zealand, its group director human resources.

Barbara Ring has been appointed chief executive of Multi Serve Education Trust, a major provider of educational services in New Zealand and overseas. Ron Perkinson, the previous chief executive, has been appointed a senior education specialist to the International Finance Corporation, part of the Washington DC-based World Bank.

Award-winning Maori language broadcaster Ruia Mai - part of Mai Media, which operates commercial Maori radio station Mai FM 88.6 - has appointed journalist Vanessa Bidois news manager.

Bidois (Ngati Ranginui, Te Arawa) was the programme leader/lecturer of the resurrected Maori journalism course at Rotorua's Waiariki Institute of Technology.

Arran Finlayson has been appointed account manager for permanent services in OPAL Consulting Group's Auckland office. Emma-Jane Hutcheson has been promoted to team leader of the temporary services division of OPAL Consulting Group's Auckland office.
