Barfoot and Thompson Commercial has appointed Peter Churchill, formerly of AMP Henderson Global Investors, to head its corporate sales division. Churchill had 20 years of experience with AMP where he was involved in the development of the Botany Town Centre and The Hub.
Chris Hall has been appointed general manager of Kings Plant Barn. He joined the company in 1994 after emigrating from Britain.
New Zealand Trade and Enterprise ICT director Liz Longworth has been seconded for two years to Unesco, the United Nations organisation for education, science, technology, communications and culture. Longworth will have global responsibilities as director, information society division in Unesco's Communications and Information Sector.
Liz Bridgeman has been appointed sponsorship manager of financial services company, Sovereign. She was previously marketing manager at the former TMP Worldwide (now known as TMP/Hudson Global Resources) and has a diploma in international business from Massey University.
Health and safety software company Intaz has appointed Melissa Clark-Reynolds as its new chief executive. Clark-Reynolds was general manager of private accident compensation insurer Fusion before selling her interest in the alliance to Southern Cross Healthcare. She was principal consultant for The Empower Group.
3M NZ has announced three new apointments to its management team. Long-time employee John Novak has been appointed to the newly created position of general manager, operations and corporate strategy. Michael Thomas has taken on a new role as manufacturing and technical director, replacing Alan Williams, while continuing in his position as new business ventures general manager. And Luke Blincoe, previously marketing manager, consumer and office markets group, has replaced Paul Doyle as general manager, consumer and office markets group.
