AMP NZ Office Trust has appointed Hamish McCulloch as its Auckland asset manager responsible for ANZO's Auckland office buildings portfolio, which is valued at more than $450 million. McCulloch was formerly employed by Serco Group, where he developed and set up its property management division.
Phitek Systems has appointed Vaughan Magnusson as its chief financial officer. Magnusson recently returned from working in the Cayman Islands. Before that he worked for Zurich Scudder Asset Management in London.
Henri Eliot has joined Electronic Transaction Services as head of strategic planning. Eliot joins the firm from the Bank of Montreal in Toronto where he was head of strategic planning for the Investment Banking Group.
Law firm Buddle Findlay has made three appointments. Louise Taylor has joined as a senior solicitor in the corporate services team. Before joining the firm Taylor spent 3 1/2 years as a commercial lawyer for the BBC in London. Grainne O'Callaghan-King has joined the company as a legal adviser in the corporate services team after spending five years working in law firms in London. Mary-Liz Griffen is the company's marketing executive. She was previously marketing and communications executive at Asteron.
Hamilton law firm Tompkins Wake has appointed James MacGillivray as an associate. MacGillivray recently returned from three years in London. Before that he worked in Auckland. He is a specialist in aviation and insurance litigation, negligence claims and banking disputes.
