Mark Hardie has become general manager, northern region, for technology solutions company Gen-i. His experience includes 11 years as client director of Gen-i's dedicated Air New Zealand team.

Rachael Michael has become a consultant in the accounting and finance division at Reed Recruitment. Former employers include Adecco Personnel, the Cook Islands Sports and National Olympic Committee, and The Warehouse.

Joanne Chapman has become manager of Jordan Recreation & Fitness in Onehunga, run by Community Leisure Management. She has had leadership roles at various fitness centres in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Mike Henton has been appointed CLM's information and training systems manager. He was last manager of Jordan.

Arlene Lee is the new director, business development, for The Ascott Metropolis, Auckland. She joined The Ascott in 2001, following 17 years in the hotel industry.

Raymond Wong has won the newly-created position of student welfare manager at Auckland International College. Originally from Singapore, he completed a graduate diploma in secondary teaching at the Auckland University of Technology.
