Chris Buddle is the new sales and marketing manager of the New Zealand Sugar Company. He held similar positions at Huttons Kiwi, Food Solutions Group and Griffins Foods, and replaces Bernard Duignan, who has become NZ Sugar's general manager.

Mischa Mannix has been appointed marketing manager for casino Sky Riverside Hamilton, which opens next month. She joins from Sky Alpine Queenstown Casino.

Four new directors have joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Andrew Button is based in Christchurch and specialises in tax. Graham Hart is in Auckland and works in line management and HR advisory roles in retail, Diana Maitland leads the Deloitte transfer pricing team in Wellington and Greg Thompson co-leads the generalist tax team in Wellington.
