Louise Holden, formerly market research and direct marketing manager at BankDirect, has been promoted to the position of marketing manager. Before joining BankDirect, Holden held marketing roles at CLEAR Communications and Enerco.

David Crum has been elected president of the New Zealand Dental Association. The NZDA has 1800 members, making up 96 per cent of all New Zealand's dental practitioners.

Mark Browne, Louis Vuitton New Zealand managing director, will chair the Heart of the City committee as it gears up for the first L'Oreal New Zealand Fashion Week and for the next America's Cup. Browne has been working with Heart of the City, Auckland's central city retail promotions group, for several years. He has chaired the committee for the past year and was re-elected to the job this month.
