New Zealand Trade and Enterprise CEO Tim Gibson has appointed seven general managers at the Government's new trade and economic development agency.

They are: Jo Bransgrove, general manager corporate; Peter Healy, general manager regional economic development; Jonathan Kings, general manager strategy Peter Lennox, general manager organisation development; Rod MacKenzie, general manager market services; Neil Maxwell, general manager sectors; and finally Julian Moore, general manager marketing.

Ben Goodale has been appointed a senior account director for Tequila which specialises in brand activation as part of the Whybin TBWA Group. He will have special responsibilities for ASB Bank's direct marketing.

GRD New Zealand, owner of GRD Macraes, has appointed Patrick O'Connor as a director. O'Connor is a director of the Water Corporation of Western Australia, Fusion Oil and Gas PLC, and Clearview Capital.

Hyatt Regency Auckland has appointed Jonelle Holmes as its new catering sales manager. She will focus on managing the catering and banqueting requirements in the hotel's expanded conference and banqueting facilities.

Alison Meldrum has joined Designworks as brand consultant in June 2003. Based in Auckland, she will work in both the Auckland and Wellington offices. Meldrum has 20 years' experience developing strategic branding programmes.
