Mr Robertson has been a partner in Ernst & Young's consulting practice, and an associate director in its various incarnations of Capgemini Ernst & Young, Capgemini NZ and Hewlett-Packard, where he worked in senior and strategic roles for the last 14 years.

Yellow Pages Group has today confirmed its near-final board line-up, with one position still to be confirmed. The chairman is James Smith, a 28-year veteran of the US telecommunications and Yellow Pages industries, and board members include group chief executive officer Dudley Enoka, retired Nelson businessman Harry Mortimore.

Formula Cruisers, a boat building company, has appointed Troy Woods as sales and marketing manager. Troy has senior management experience within the local and international marine industry.

Readingit Corporation, the recent eBook publishing startup, has appointed Luigi Cappel as marketing director and he also takes a position on the board. Cappel is the author of white papers on eBooks, the successful book Unleashing the Road Warrior and is well known as an evangelist of mobile and wireless computing.

Steve Payne is the new product development manager within the diagnostics team of farm improvement company, LIC. Steve previously worked as a scientist with HortResearch. Simon Mailman is LICs new Protrack support specialist for the Christchurch region. He joins the team with a strong background in both hardware and software development and will be based in a large growth region for Protrack. Garth Stearn is now LICs South Island operations and sales manager. Stearn has spent nine years working with PIC New Zealand (the pig industrys equivalent of LIC) as business development manager. Mark Howes is LICs new SAP programming specialist. Originally from the UK, Mark has previously worked for international door and window manufacturer Roto Frank Group.

AMP Capital Investors announces the appointment of Andrew Penn as the company's new senior legal counsel. Penn comes from Buddle Findlay where he specialised in commercial property law.

The Dilworth Trust Board has appointed Hugh Fletcher as a Trustee. Mr Fletcher replaces Sir Wilson Whineray, who retires from the board after 11 years of service. Fletcher is described as having "a wealth of experience at the highest levels of business and education."

The Vodafone New Zealand Foundation has announced Andrea Midgen as the new Foundation chair and Annette Culpan as Foundation manager. Midgen has been a member of the Foundations board since 2005 and part of the Vodafone team since 1999. Culpan has been a member of the Vodafone team since 2001 in a variety of roles including procurement, project management and communications.
