KEY POINTS:
KFC has appointed Kellie Purvis as the new KFC area manager for the lower South Island territory. Purvis will be based in Dunedin. She has been with KFC for 12 years and has progressed from team member to restaurant manager at Dunedin North.
Bayer New Zealand has appointed Heiko Petersen as country division head of its OTC Consumer Care division. Petersen, who will be based in Auckland, has been with Bayer for eight years and previously worked in Bayer's Consumer Care head office in Germany.
David Williams, formerly general manager at Anglo Pacific in the UK, has been appointed a director at World Moving & Storage Ltd. Williams has over 20 years experience in the removals industry. Also new is Colin Holloway, who has joined as a sales consultant. Holloway has nearly 15 years experience.
Leading national law firm Buddle Findlay has strengthened its practice with the appointment of seven new senior associates. Four will work from its Auckland office, two from its Wellington office and one who will be based in Christchurch. The new senior associates in Auckland are Vanessa Evitt, Cherie Lawrence, Angela Chitty and Dominic Lundon. In Wellington will be Kathryn McLean and Gene Turner. The new senior associate at Buddle Findlay's Christchurch office is Lucy Thomson. Also new there is Julia Vallance, who joins as a solicitor in the commercial team. Vallance was previously at Rhodes & Co, where she spent 16 months in general commercial practice.
David (Paddy) O'Hanlon has been appointed as director of sales and marketing at OMFinancial Limited. O'Hanlon has been involved in the financial markets over the last 25 years in various roles, from trading to sales and marketing across the UK, Indonesia and New Zealand.
Grant Nicholson has been promoted to partner at Kensington Swan. Nicholson is a commercial litigator working primarily with clients in the manufacturing, construction and property sectors.
