The Interface Financial Group has welcomed its latest franchisee, Maxwells Dry Cleaning founder Laurie Lowther, to its network. Lowther who took on the South East Auckland branch of Interface in June 2008, has an extensive business background. Lowther successfully founded drycleaning chain, Maxwells, and a yacht leasing business.
Nicola Baker has joined Buddle Findlay's Auckland office as a senior solicitor in the corporate and commercial team. She specialises in information technology and commercial law. Prior to joining Buddle Findlay, Nicola spent five years in London working in-house in finance and technology related industries.
Barbara Alexander has joined Buddle Findlay's Christchurch office as a senior solicitor in the litigation team. Barbara specialises in resolving construction and engineering disputes. She has recently returned from private practice in the UK.
New Image Group has appointed Simon Beuth as its chief financial officer. He was previously financial controller for manufacturing and marketing company Nice & Natural, and has worked in FMCG and funds management here and in the UK.
David Jewell has been appointed President of the New Zealand Contractors Federation. With over thirty years experience in the civil construction industry, he has been operations manager of Fletcher Constructions engineering division since 1998.
Media placement companies Auto TV and Parking Space have appointed Craig Muir to the newly created role of general manager. Muir has extensive international and local experience in management and sales and will be instrumental in the development and growth of both companies.
Quinn Chartered Accountants Limited has appointed Kate Armstrong as director. She has a wealth of accounting, taxation and business development experience. She has worked for a large international accounting firm in New Zealand and overseas.
