Chapman Tripp has appointed one principal and two consultants within the firm.
Lyndsey Partridge practises within the firm's expanding private client team, specialising in trust structuring for private clients and the emerging charities field. Lyndsey has been with the firm for 17 years, has been a principal for nine years and is its first principal to be appointed a consultant.
Sam Rowe has been appointed a principal in Auckland. He is a member of the firm's taxation team. He has in-depth knowledge of both New Zealand and Australian tax law, having practised in both jurisdictions, and has provided critical advice to a number of large New Zealand and Australian clients.
Tony Keenan is now a consultant in Auckland. After 20 years as a partner, Keenan is retiring from the partnership at the end of this year, and will remain with the firm for a further year as a consultant for 2008. He will continue with his established practice in property and construction law.
Singapore Airlines has appointed Looi Tein Po as general manager New Zealand. Tein Po has worked with Singapore Airlines for almost 20 years in various planning, operational, sales and marketing areas. He was most recently general manager of Abacus Travel System, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines.
He replaces Alan Lim who returns to Singapore to take up another position within the company.
Variety - The Childrens Charity has appointed Clare Ponton as its new business development manager. Clare was formerly public affairs manager at Ford New Zealand. She is charged with developing new business and sponsorship opportunities and managing business relationships for the charity.
