The Northern Gateway Alliance, which is designing and building the extension of the northern motorway between Orewa and Puhoi, has appointed John Savage as Project Controls Manager.

He joins the project from Meridian Energy and the Waihanga Alliance where he was Planning Specialist / Risk Manager on Project Aqua.

Tony Gollin has been appointed to the new position of general manager - corporate planning and strategy at Auckland Airport.

He returns to the airport's management team after seven years overseas where he worked at Bechtel and Alterra Partners. His most recent position was with Alterra Partners.
