KEY POINTS:
* Trans-Tasman law firm, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, has announced the appointment of three new partners - John Peterson, Paul Radich and Carolyn van Leuven and the appointment of a new senior associate, Jessica Gorman. Peterson is an experienced tax advisor in all aspects of taxation law and has previously worked in London and New York. Radich is an experienced commercial litigator with 22 years' experience as a trial and dispute resolution lawyer. Carolyn van Leuven advises a wide range of clients and is an energy sector specialist, having been heavily involved with a number of high profile initiatives in the sector. Jessica Gorman is an experienced commercial litigator, specialising in public law.
* Suzanne Kruse has been appointed as the new GymSports Officer for the Auckland/Counties Manukau region. For the past two years Kruse worked as the Active Movement Advisor for Sport Southland.
* Former head of Teradata Julian Beavis has been appointed as CEO of Cadmus Technology. He is joined by Neil Livingston (formerly of Modempak and Ericcson) as chief operations officer and by Stefan Lecchi as GM sales and marketing following a successful career with companies such as Telecom New Zealand.
* Wellington Cable Car Limited (WCCL), the company which owns and operates the cable car, has appointed Matthew Hardy to the newly created position of passenger services manager. Prior to joining WCCL he was an Operations Manager for Intercity/Newmans Coach Services
* Wotif.com has appointed Craig Dawson to the position of Chief Financial Officer. With over 12 years' experience in the corporate finance, accounting and leisure and entertainment sector, Dawson brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the company.
