HP New Zealand has appointed Brent Kendrick, former national sales manager, commercial, as general manager of the company's Personal Systems Group.

Kendrick was previously southern region sales manager for HP, and has worked in the business for eight years.

Graham Jackson has joined Research Solutions as a research consultant. He has 18 years' experience in the industry. Ronel Morgan joins the firm as a researcher with expertise in FMCG research, advertising and brand research.

Mark Cathro joins law firm Phillips Fox from Beachcroft Wansbrough in Britain in the corporate and financial services division. He was previously with Andersen Legal/Garretts in London before its dissolution in 2002. Daniel Gills also joins the company. He was a senior solicitor at another major New Zealand law firm.

Retailworld Resourcing has appointed Ben Harman as its New Zealand general manager and business partner. Harman joins the firm from Telecom where he led its retail subsidiary company Telecom Retail Holdings.

Peter Speakman joins Kensington Swan's Auckland corporate and commercial team as a partner. Quentin Lowcay joins its financial services team as a senior associate. Deemple Budhia returns to the company's Wellington financial services team as an associate after spending time working in London.

Ericsson Enterprise Systems has appointed Cristina Ireland as sales consultant. Before joining the firm, Ireland was with TelstraClear for five years as a business manager. Jon McGettigan also joins the firm as sales executive from TelstraClear where he was business manager.
