Clemenger BBDO Wellington has appointed Mark Harricks as creative director and Paul Nagy as deputy creative director. Harricks has been with the agency for four years as deputy creative director. Nagy has been head of copy at the agency for the past two years. Harricks and Nagy's long list of awards includes the coveted Gold Lion at this years Cannes Advertising Festival.
Darrell Stroud has been appointed as the regional director of ToTal Risk Management (Auckland) Limited with a general management responsibility. Darrell has an extensive risk management and investigation gained from over eighteen years service with the NZ Police and nine years operating his own investigation and security Consultancy.
Restaurant Brands Ltd has made two new appointments. Rod de Vries has been appointed as chief operating officer for Restaurant Brands and Eva Knox appointed as group marketing manager for KFC and Pizza Hut. De Vries was formerly general manager for both KFC and Pizza Hut. Knox was formerly the marketing manager for KFC and has been with RBL for nearly two years.
David Penny has been appointed general manager of Fairfax Suburban Newspapers in Auckland. For the past eight years he has been the general manager of Central Community Newspapers.
Christchurch journalist Andrew Holden has been appointed the editor of The Press. Holden is currently deputy editor of the newspaper. He replaces Paul Thompson, who has been appointed group executive editor of Fairfax Media.
