DB Breweries has appointed Steve Inch as general manager of sales. Previously national channel sales manager for wine and spirits distributor network Maxxium, Australia, Inch brings more than 17 years experience in FMCG sales, marketing and general business management to DB.
Mike Quirk has been appointed managing director of Beca Asia Holdings Pte Ltd. Previously group director Beca Buildings within BCHF, Quirk has over 18 years experience in the design and construction of large commercial, healthcare and institutional projects in Australia, Asia and UK.
Australasian commercial law firm DLA Phillips Fox has reappointed two experienced lawyers as senior associates on their return to New Zealand from the UK. Greg Fahey has rejoined DLA Phillips Fox in Wellington after three years in London working for a leading European law firm and as in-house legal counsel to global consulting company ERM. Ruth Sullman rejoins DLA Phillips Fox's Auckland office after three years in business and commercial law in London, including acting as legal counsel in the UK for Barclays Bank Plc and Atos Origin. Sullman specialises in contract and commercial law.
Furniture Court has appointed Mike Henderson as its new chief executive. Henderson has a background in managing and building franchise systems and stakeholder value. He has joined Furniture Court from the Paper Plus Group where he was group controller operations.He was also chairman of the Franchise Association New Zealand.
The NZ Writers Guild has appointed Steven Gannaway as its new Executive Director. Gannaway takes over from Dominic Sheehan, who has left to head the Broadcasting Standards Authority.
David Williams, formerly general manager at Anglo Pacific in the UK, has been appointed a director at World Moving & Storage Ltd. Williams has over 20 years experience in the removals industry. Also new at World Moving & Storage is Colin Holloway, who has joined as a sales consultant.
