KEY POINTS:
* Rabin Rabindran, an Auckland commercial barrister and international legal consultant has been appointed a director of Tomorrow's Manukau Properties Limited and its subsidiary TMPL (Flat Bush) Limited. Rabindran is also the deputy chair of the Auckland Regional Transport Authority and a director of Manukau Water Ltd.
* The Duffill Watts Consulting Group, a multi-disciplinary project design and management consultancy, has appointed David Hookway to manage the resource management planning section in its Auckland office. Hookway has more than 30 year's experience in resource management planning and was previously a city planning manager with the Auckland City Council. Duffill Watts' previous Auckland planning manager, Janice Carter, has relocated to its Christchurch Office
* Sharyn Ryburn has joined Buddle Findlay's Wellington office as a solicitor in the public law team after recently returning from the UK. Ryburn has been practising public law for two years.
* Vestar Investment Specialists has appointed Fred Noyce as manager of advisory, North Island, to head the firm's large team of North Island advisers. Noyce's background in senior sales management includes a role as regional sales manager for Telecom Business.
* Shaun Aumua has joined Ericsson New Zealand as sales executive for Digicel Pacific. Aumua has 20 years experience in the telecom/technology sector. He was previously working for Avaya EMEA as account director for Datapoint in Brussels before moving to Scandanavia as sales director and then managing director.
* Tourism Australia (New Zealand) has appointed Robert O'Brien as distribution development manager, New Zealand. O'Brien will be responsible for developing Tourism Australia's Aussie Specialist Programme, along with Kirsty Morrison, and for the recruitment and education of the retail agent network. O'Brien was previously at an incentive marketing company where he worked as a business development manager.
