Managed funds specialist lawyer Tracey Cross has been appointed chair of Women in Super (NZ) Incorporated. Cross is a Wellington-based senior associate at law firm, Phillips Fox. Women in Super (NZ) Inc is a national non-profit organisation of women who are associated with the superannuation industry in New Zealand.

The ASB Group is making changes to its executive team. Simon Swanson, managing director of Sovereign, transfers to Australia to become executive general manager of Commonwealth Bank's insurance operations, and Robert De Luca joins ASB Group from Commonwealth Bank.
Other changes include: Barbara Chapman has been appointed managing director of Sovereign. Ross McEwan becomes head of retail banking and marketing at ASB Bank. Robert De Luca becomes head of ASB Group Investments.
John Duncan will take on responsibility for ASB securities and capital markets. Kerry Francis is appointed head of treasury and financial markets and will join the group executive committee.
Peter Hall is appointed to the new position of head of group risk, and will be responsible for the audit and credit functions. James Mitchell retains the position of head of relationship banking and financial services, and will take on responsibility for working capital services.
