KEY POINTS:
* Insurer AIA (American International Assurance Company (Bermuda) Ltd) has appointed Mike Loftus as market retention manager. He has recently worked on Qantas' customer loyalty and rewards strategies.
* Executive Taskforce Group has appointed Roger Herbert to the position of candidate care manager. He has more than ten years of recruitment experience in New Zealand and Britain at a senior level as consultant, and as a specialist consultant in the health and IT industries.
* The Southern Cross Medical Care Society has appointed Lindsey Lawton as the new chief operating officer, management services.
* Tempforce - Workforce, a division of Executive Taskforce Group, has recently appointed Lois Bicknell, as a permanent and temporary consultant. She has several years experience in the recruitment industry, primarily focusing on accounting and finance positions.
* Buddle Findlay has made several new appointments. Marc Warren has joined the Auckland office as a legal adviser in the property team, Brendan Pat has joined the team as a solicitor. Carrie Lui has joined the Auckland office as a senior solicitor in the tax team.
* Slingshot has appointed Lisa Gentsch as its new voice product manager. Gentsch most recently was product and acquisition manager for broadband and voice (residential market) with Woosh Wireless. Tabak Business Sales has appointed Alex Smith as business manager for its Auckland operations. He was recently group marketing and operations manager at the Hanover Group.
* Craig Dowling has joined Westpac New Zealand as media relations manager. Before joining Westpac Dowling was the public affairs manager for American Express.
* Hesketh Henry has announced that Sylvia Cheah has joined the partnership in their commercial property team. She is a commercial property specialist dealing in all aspects of commercial property and real estate ventures. Anthony Kuran has been appointed an associate at Morgan Coakle. Kuran specialises in corporate and commercial law including business acquisitions, financing and property transactions.
* Rosalyn Powell has joined Morgan Coakle as practice manager after seven years in executive recruitment.
* Lindsey Lawton has been appointed to a new position of chief operating officer, management services, for the Southern Cross Medical Care Society. She has a background in finance, consulting and healthcare management, most recently as chief executive with Fertility Associates.
* VoIP supplier Turnstone has appointed Peter Naylor as sales manager to the team. He previously worked for Comtel Communications as Sales Manager and has extensive experience in the sales and implementation of VoIP solutions.
* Habitat for Humanity Zealand has recently announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer, Winsome Stretch.
