Tip Top Ice Cream Company has appointed John Drillien as general manager, sales and distribution, replacing Wayne Gooch who has been promoted to general manager, sales and distribution at Mainland Products. Both companies are part of the Fonterra Group. Drillien started at Tip Top 18 months ago as national sales manager route trade. Tip Top has also appointed Dan Love as general manager, human resources and Adam Maxwell as marketing manager, ice cream novelties.
The Film Auckland Advisory Board has appointed Natasha Christie as executive manager. Christie has marketing, business development and sponsorship experience in tourism and television here and in the US.
Hyatt Regency Auckland has appointed Andreas Senn as the new manager for The Cafe, The Lobby Bar and its new Top of the Town lounge bar, opening next month. Senn was previously in similar roles on the Silversea Cruiseline, the Langham Hilton in London and a range of five-star hotels in Austria.
Phil Heath and Dave Nicholson have been appointed managers of Prime Business Finance, part of Prime Finance's expansion into the Auckland business lending market.
Hospitality company Mitchell Corp (NZ) has appointed Matt Standing to the new position of chief executive for the group. Standing was previously general manager of the Millennium Hotel in Christchurch.
Andrew Loader has been appointed director of sales and marketing, New Zealand/South Pacific, for the InterContinental Hotels Group. He will be responsible for strategic marketing vision and the communications framework for its nine hotels in New Zealand and the South Pacific. He was previously area sales and marketing manager for Victoria, South Australia and ACT.
Bruce Walker has been appointed managing director of project management company Carson Group Auckland. He is a director and shareholder of Carson and an engineer by qualification.
Sovereign has appointed Mark Collins as senior manager, new business within the operations team. Collins joins Sovereign from Liberata, a British-based business processing company, where he was innovations and solutions manager.
Raoul Collings and Joyti Singh have formed their own Mortgage Broking and Consultancy Company, Mortgage Providers NZ. Both were previously with Interstar Securities NZ.
Engineering and environmental management consultancy URS New Zealand has been joined by a sustainable development and business practice specialist. Senior sustainability consultant Kerry Griffiths has worked on sustainability and corporate social responsibility issues since mid-1990s. She's a founding member of the New Zealand Businesses for Social Responsibility.
