Spherion Recruitment Solutions has appointed Jo Lee as team leader, Auckland, and Michelle Williams as senior consultant. Both have extensive IT recruitment experience and were previously with Robert Walters.

TV3 has appointed Anna Lynch as creative director. Lynch, who has worked at TVNZ, Sky and TV3 in a variety of production and promotional roles, will be responsible for the on-air look of TV3.

Dr Aidan Curzon-Hobson joins the Electrotechnology Industry Training Organisation as research and development manager. Curzon-Hobson will applying his expertise in research, curriculum design and quality assurance to ensure the supply of skilled workers to technology-based industries.

BMC Software has named Paul Williams as managing director for Australia and New Zealand. Williams has more than 30 years' experience in the IT industry and has worked with BMC Software for the past four years. He was appointed New Zealand country manager in 1999.

Garry Fissenden has been appointed general manager of finance company UDC. He has returned from Australia where he was general manager operations and technology with Esanda Finance - Australia's largest asset-based finance company.

Rydges Hotels & Resorts has appointed Warren O'Brien regional director of business development for New Zealand. He was corporate director, sales and marketing for Sobek Adventures, Waterborn Park & Spa and M&M Catering in Bali.

Harcourts International has appointed management and sports psychologist Gilbert Enoka to head its training division, The Harcourts Academy. Enoka has worked with the All Blacks, the Canterbury Crusaders, the Silver Ferns, and the Black Caps in recent years.
