Kerry Brett has been appointed manager of MetroBox, the Auckland container storage and repair business that is jointly owned by the Port of Tauranga and Toll Holdings. Most recently Brett was group operations manager for an international courier, mail and logistics company based in Britain.
Murray Jordan has been appointed general manager, property strategy for Foodstuffs (Auckland). Jordan comes to Foodstuffs from AMP Capital Investors, where he has been general manager AMP Property Portfolio for two years. Jordan succeeds Gordon Davies who retires this year after 26 years with the company but will remain in a consulting role.
Bank of New Zealand has appointed Conrad Wilkshire as general manager agribusiness financial services. Wilkshire has more than 15 years' banking experience. His previous role was head of private banking.
Geoff Hatten, a director of accounting firm Markhams MRI Auckland, has been appointed chairman of its umbrella company, Markhams MRI New Zealand.
Nigel McMahon is Bank of New Zealand's new general manager risk management. He replaces Chris Bayliss who was appointed to chief operating officer in Yorkshire Bank. McMahon has been with the National Australia Group since 1982. He was previously based in Glasgow.
Adam Heath has joined Sovereign as general manager risk products and Scott Black has been appointed as general manager distributed products. Before joining Sovereign, Heath was chief manager retail strategy at ASB Bank. Black has worked at Sovereign and its predecessors for 20 years in sales and marketing roles.
Livestock Improvement Corporation has appointed Dion Cawood business development manager. Cawood previously worked with Auckland City Council, the BBC and Ernst & Young.
