Century Yuasa Batteries (NZ) has appointed Glenn Ross as national sales manager for the motive power division. Ross was previously North Island sales manager for Johnson Diversey's food division.
Enprise Solutions has appointed Daniel Jeffrey to the role of development manager. Jeffrey has previously worked in technical and customer service management in Australian technology companies.
Peter Tapper has been appointed director of the Indo-Pacific Energy board. Tapper is a professional engineer, having served 34 years with Royal Dutch Shell. His roles there included being executive general manager of Woodside Offshore Petroleum, the operator of the North-West Shelf Project, a joint venture between Shell, BP, Chevron and other major companies.
The Spencer on Byron Hotel has appointed Kelly George (right) as sales executive. George will primarily be responsible for new business across the hotel's conference and corporate areas. She most recently worked for McLaren Brown Publishing, selling advertising.
Insurance brokerage Aon New Zealand has appointed Stephen Howarth as an associate director in its Auckland office. Howarth has more than 20 years' experience in the industry, most recently with Marsh.
Peter Fredricson has been appointed chief financial officer of Vector. Fredricson, a chartered accountant, was previously a director of investment bank Grant Samuel & Associates.
David Newman has been appointed chairman of the Indo-Pacific Energy board. Newman is a director of several prominent New Zealand companies, and also serves as chief executive of the Institute of Directors.
