Murray Denyer has joined leading law firm Cooney Lees Morgan as a consultant with the commercial team. He was previously general manager corporate services and general counsel with ZESPRI .
Chapman Tripp is pleased to welcome Daniel Kalderimis back to the firm as a principal, based in the Wellington litigation team. He left Chapman Tripp in 2002 to take up a Fulbright Scholarship at Columbia Law School. In addition to obtaining an LLM in international economic law, Daniel taught several courses, including a class in public international law.
Simpson Grierson has welcomed two new associates. Associate Natasha Crampton is the latest addition to the Auckland commercial litigation team. She has spent the last four years as a solicitor at Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Sydney. Associate Claire Green rejoins Simpson Grierson's Auckland commercial property team after several years at Simpson Western and Meredith Connell Auckland and lately, parental leave and travel.
New Zealand wine investment company, Ager Sectus Wine Estates (ASWE) has expanded its international sales force through two new senior appointments. Simon Beck has been appointed to the role of North American business development sales and marketing manager. Prior to joining Ager Sectus, Beck worked as sales and marketing director for Winegrowers of Ara in Marlborough. Andrew Barr is the new Australia/South East Asia market manager. His wine career spans twenty years and two iconic wine institutions - Nobilo Wine Group and BRL Hardy Ltd. Most recently he was national sales manager for Nobilo Wine Group.
