The Sir George Seymour National College of Tourism and Travel has promoted Lyndon Leabourn to the position of general manager, based in Auckland. Leabourn was previously financial controller of the college. He is a chartered accountant and has more than 10 years' experience in finance, including five years in senior finance roles in Britain.

NRM New Zealand has appointed Brett Thompson as national sales manager. Previously North Island sales manager, Thompson has 11 years' experience in sales and feed milling with NRM and Tegel Foods.

Nathan Inkpen has joined Business World Travel as business development manager.

Flight Centre has appointed Michael Fletcher chief financial officer. Fletcher comes from Auckland Regional Transport Network Ltd where he was also chief financial officer. Before that he worked as CFO for Works Infrastructure. He has had more than 15 years' experience in finance and has held a number of CFO roles, including that at TVNZ and Cogent Communications.

Nancy Loane has joined Crockers Property Management Limited MREINZ as a property manager.

Dean Tatro has been appointed general manager of XS Baggage. A 20-year veteran of the airline and travel business, he previously held positions as president of Manchester Cargo in the US and was a member of the commercial department at Qantas New Zealand.
