Kindercare Learning Centres has appointed Scott Arrol to the new role of company operations manager. Arrol's most recent role was as operations manager for Radius Health. He has been involved in the health industry for the past seven years.
Hirepool has made three senior appointments. Craig McIntosh has been appointed business relationship manager for Wellington, Mark Powell has been appointed business relationship manager for Taranaki and Stan de Thierry regional manager Taranaki. De Thierry was most recently product specialist with Hirequip in Auckland. Powell was previously key account manager, in New Plymouth for Hirequip, and McIntosh was formerly branch manager for Projex/Hirequip at Thorndon.
Soon to join Fulton Hogan in a newly created role is Simon Hunt, who takes the position of group asset management leader. Hunt has extensive local and offshore experience managing TransitNZ, local authority and commercial roading projects.
George Adams is the new managing director, Oceania, for Coca-Cola Amatil. He will be based in Auckland and will manage the company's New Zealand and Fijian operations. Adams was previously with British Telecom (BT), where he was finance director for BT Northern Ireland and financial controller for BT Regions.
Sandra Geange has joined Woosh Wireless as general manager sales and marketing, having previously spent 2 1/2 years with Telecom as head of consumer marketing. At Woosh, Geange will be responsible for the ongoing marketing of the company's high-speed wireless broadband product, which was launched in September.
Harvey World Travel has appointed Justin Lawson franchise recruitment manager, Eddie Barton acquisitions manager, and Angela Ripoll para-legal executive. Lawson was previously business development leader for Corporate Traveller UK in Britain. Barton was CEO of X*act Solutions, a Sydney-based technology company.
