St Cuthbert's College in Auckland has appointed Moira MacDonald as communications manager. With 20 years' experience as a communications specialist, MacDonald most recently managed the marketing communications, public relations, brand development and media management for the National Heart Foundation.
Auckland-based specialist real estate company Interactive Property Management has appointed Glenn McGill as business development manager. Since 1998 McGill has worked as business development manager for specialist insurance software development companies.
The Government's new trade and economic development agency, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, has appointed nine team directors. They are: Leone Evans, food and beverages team director; Andrew French, Maori enterprise team director; Ian Lockie, wood, building and interiors team director; David Penny, niche manufacturing team director; David Powell, agritech and life sciences; Tim Sheppard, international education team director; Anne Stevenson, creative and services team director; Gordon Stevenson, information and communications technology team director; and John Waugh, regional client services team director. It has also appointed Pelenato Sakalia as wood processing project manager.
Property and facilities management specialist Hamish McCulloch has been employed to head up a new division of Serco Group NZ - Serco Property Solutions. He will focus on developing new business for the integrated facilities and property management service provider and oversee the management servicing of the company's major customer, Telecom.
Certus Consulting has appointed Adrian McNaughten, as account manager in the Wellington office. He will be responsible for key accounts, including NZ Milk and the Inland Revenue Department, as well as new business generation.
Greg Howe has been appointed as Hurunui District Council's new tourism general manager. He previously managed the Auckland City Council's communication and marketing requirements for recreational activities.
SAP has appointed Carol Lee Davidson as industry manager, responsible for the services and healthcare markets. Davidson was previously technology manager for Oracle New Zealand and is the founder and a director of Women in Technology.
The College of Law New Zealand has announced the appointment of its board of directors and its establishment director and CEO. Board appointees are: Ian Haynes ONZM, chairman; Joanne Hodge; Neville Carter; and Christopher Roper. Other key appointments are: Terry McFadgen, establishment director and CEO; and Simon Dorset, director of programmes.
