AT&T Inc has announced the appointment of Fred Girouard as managing director for Australia and New Zealand. Girouard, who transferred from New Jersey, USA, assumed his new position on October 1st this year and has relocated to Sydney. He has more than 20 years experience within AT&T, most recently as the executive director for the business development team in global sales enablement.
Event Venues Rotorua sales and marketing manager, Diana Moore, has been elected to the board of Conventions & Incentives New Zealand (CINZ).
Optimation has appointed Jeremy Hart as solution architect to its Auckland office. Jeremy comes to Optimation from Orion Health.
Proximity iD, a specialist in the integration of technology and marketing, has appointed Richard Clapp to the position of group account director. He joins after seven years with his own marketing consultancy which specialised in developing processes and methodology for analysing clients' sales and activity.
Sacha Oudyn has joined the Auckland office of Buddle Findlay, having accepted the position of senior solicitor in the tax team. Prior to joining Buddle Findlay, Oudyn worked as a tax manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
American Express has announced the appointment of Sue Parkinson as New Zealand country manager and head of the market's International Consumer and Small Business Services operations. Parkinson has extensive experience in multi-country strategic marketing and consulting and has worked for organisations such as Coca-Cola, McKinsey and Company, Rank Hovis McDougall PLC and Nestle. Most recently she consulted to international organisations on brand, marketing research and strategic planning. Industrial services and distribution operator, Rakino Group, has announced two new senior appointments at equipment rental specialist Hirepool Limited.
Andrew Messent has been promoted to the position of national assets manager. Messent, who has been with Hirepool for 12 years, was previously national workshop manager. Meanwhile, Wickman has joined Hirepool from Atlas Copco as manager of Hirepool Energy. He was previously NZ hire manager at Atlas Copco for the past seven years.
Specialist litigation and dispute resolution law firm Grimshaw & Co has appointed Peri Hoskins as an associate. Peri specialises in civil and commercial litigation, and his areas of expertise include insurance law, building and construction disputes, contractual and commercial disputes, corporate law, taxation, and personal injury. Hoskins has been practising law since 1992 and has gained a wide range of legal experience. Before taking up the position at Grimshaw & Co, Peri was a senior associate at Whangarei firm, Henderson Reeves Connell Rishworth Lawyers.
Hawkes Bay's Paritua Vineyards has appointed James Kennish as international sales & marketing manager for the United Kingdom, European Union, Australian and New Zealand markets. Originally from the UK, Kennish was most recently with wine distributor red + white NZ as their national manager.
Senior environmental lawyer Lara Blomfield has joined Simon Berry's chambers as an associate. She joins Simon Berry from Simpson Grierson, where she has been a senior associate in the environment and local government team since 2000.

Patrick has extensive experience with SAP and ERP solutions across multiple verticals from a client, consulting and project management perspective.
