Accor Hotels has appointed Stefan Kracke as general manager of Mercure Grand Puka Park Resort, Pauanui. He was previously food and beverage operations manager at Millbrook Resort. His wife Cora Kracke has been appointed lodge manager.
PeopleSoft has appointed Guy Honore as account executive, responsible for developing PeopleSoft's install base of customers across PeopleSoft's range of enterprise applications. Based in Wellington, he joins PeopleSoft from Computerland, where he spent five years as account manager.
Professor Keith Mansford has been appointed chairman of the biopharmaceutical company Protemix. He is already chairman of the company's scientific advisory board, a fellow of the British Royal Society of Chemistry, former vice-president of the Institute of Biology, professor of biochemistry at the University of Buckingham's Clore Laboratory and is responsible for more than 10 significant drug discoveries and commercialisations, including the broad antibiotic Augmentin.
Law firm Chapman Tripp has appointed two new partners and 17 senior solicitors. Technology expert Bruce McClintock joins as a partner in the corporate team, while property specialist Andrew Woods has been promoted to partner in the Christchurch office. The new senior solicitors are, from Auckland: Dean Allright, Rachel Batters, Matthew Carroll, Jackie Floyd, Clinton Lawgun, Rachael Matterson, Andrew Roche, Glenn Rockell, Tim Tubman, and Bram Van Melle. From Wellington: Justin Conway, Siobhan Hale, Mark Hay, Ruth Keating, and Jane Parker. And in the Christchurch office, Andrew Leete and Chris Goldsbrough have been appointed.
Megan Lacy has been appointed as the new manager of the Livestock Improvement Minda Contact Centre, replacing Jenny Squire who recently moved to Telecom. Lacy was previously a team manager for Work and Income, Hamilton.
Cottonsoft has made three new appointments to its Auckland and Dunedin offices. Ewen Stapley joins as business services manager. He was formerly regional financial controller for Cadbury Schweppes Asia Pacific, based in Melbourne. Chris Batchelor has joined as logistics manger, from Hamilton Perry. Tracey Fookes joins the marketing team in Auckland as brand manager. She has held senior marketing roles at Reckitt & Coleman and Gillette.
