Stuart Alexander is the new general manager, procurement, at internet integrator gen-i. He returns after two years as enterprise relationship manager within the enterprise business group at Compaq New Zealand.

Registered psychologist Shaun Bowler is the new managing director of sports and organisational performance company Bluefin. He was at Executive Resources, KPMG Consulting's recruiting business, as principal consultant.

Carol Filingeri has joined Horner and Partners Executive Search and Selection as a recruiter. She has had a career in recruiting and education. Shane Sampson has also joined as a recruiter. He was a senior manager at Tyco and Wormald.

Chris Westinghouse has been appointed managing director of Westinghouse Communications. He arrived from South Africa last year.

Grant Bayldon is the new chief executive of Duncan Cotterill. He was general manager and has been with the law firm since 1997.

Slade Robertson joins investment company Challenger International (New Zealand) as portfolio manager. He comes from BNP Paribas Equities (Australia), where he was head of portfolio management.

Max Whitehead has been appointed Feltex Carpets New Zealand HR manager for all six plants in the North Island. He was personnel industrial manager for Affco before working for 11 years as employment relations consultant for the Employers and Manufacturers Association.

Greg Sutton has become brand manager for supply management and procurement services company GSB Supplycorp. For seven years he has worked in marketing for several large corporations, including New Zealand Post and Telecom NZ.

Ian Hodge has been appointed managing director JD Edwards New Zealand and Australia. He was previously managing director of Nasdaq-listed CRM software company E. Piphany.

Mark Colthart, formerly an associate in the litigation and dispute resolution section of Duthie Whyte, has been appointed a principal. Ivan McIntosh has joined the commercial section as a senior associate.
