Colin Depree has been promoted to business development manager for Serco Group NZ. Depree will focus on the growth and development of Serco's Auckland-based business. He was previously business manager for Serco Resources Auckland.
Michael Wood is to become group financial director of textile manufacturer, Autex Industries. He replaces his father, Terry Wood, who is retiring after 31 years.
Bruce Koefoed is to take up a position as managing director of computer printer reseller Laser Plus. Koefoed was previously with Laser Plus as its sales and marketing manager.
Drinks manufacturer and marketer Frucor Beverages has appointed Scott Johnson as general manager, sales and distribution. Johnson joins the company from Mainland Products (Fonterra Cooperative Group) where he was general manager in sales.
Alan Blair has been appointed general manager NZ for financial services training and consulting firm Omega Performance.
Ian Knapton has been appointed as Auckland regional manager for Alstom Telecommunications Services Group. He will manage the provision of telephony installation and repair, and telecommunication network build services. Graeme McDonald has joined Alstom as ICT solutions manager. He was previously New Zealand manager, Network and Wireless business, for Compaq/HP.
Engineering and environmental professional services company, URS New Zealand, has appointed Dr Deborah Hume to lead its risk management advisory team. Hume specialises in integrated risk management and will work from Wellington.
Trend Micro has announced the appointment of Damian Thompson to New Zealand regional manager. Thompson will be responsible for the sales and channel management. He was previously Australia, New Zealand territory manager for Network Associates Sniffer Technology Group.
Young & Rubicam Advertising has appointed senior writer Vaughn Davis to the position of creative group head, Auckland. Davis will have day-to-day responsibility for the operation of the Auckland creative department.
