Pamela Miller-Staggers joins the Auckland University of Technology's international student centre at as the international marketing manager. She was previously the international liaison manager at Otago Polytechnic.

John Body has become head of foreign exchange, New Zealand, for ANZ Investment Bank. He was previously head of global forward foreign exchange, and joined ANZ in 1985.

Margie Warbrick has joined Acumen Group as executive director. For the last three years she has managed her own consultancy in London, and in the mid-1990s was partner and managing director of Phoenix PR.

Former Navy commander Paul Gilkison has joined Air Affairs, which specialises in defence and aviation equipment and systems, as a director and shareholder.
