* James Sheridan has become a client manager for Technology Solutions company Gen-i. He was last with Reuters in London.
* Jon Brewerton has become computer and technology remarketing manager for newly established Turners Technology Auctions. He has worked for Comacc, Tenuteq and Geac Computers.
* Rod Millynn has joined Exonet 6 as business development manager. He has returned to New Zealand after four years working for a Melbourne consulting business.
* Bruce Draper has become the executive director of Logistics and Transport New Zealand, the body created by the merger of Logistics NZ and the Chartered Institute of Transport. He was last chief executive of Auckland Bowls.
* Shelly Hague has been appointed national account manager for Competenz, the engineering, food and manufacturing industry training organisation.
* Richard Eaddy has been appointed managing director of treasury outsourcing service ETOS. He was last an associate director at Bancorp New Zealand.
* Bruce McKay, former head of research at DFMainland Securities, has established his own investment banking and corporate advisory firm, Saffron Capital. He has worked for FPG Research, now Morningstar, Cavill White Securities, now part of Forsyth Barr, and Morrison and Co.
* Grant Howie, formerly national sales manager of Mainland Products, has left to open a new business, Noble May New Zealand, which will offer sales training and management development.
* Sarah Stacey has become the marketing manager for Sky Alpine Queenstown Casino. She replaces Mischa Mannix, who has become marketing manager for Sky Riverside Hamilton. Stacey returned to New Zealand last year, after three years working in London in marketing and communications.
* Ian Johnson has joined Orcon Internet as the manager of its recently opened Tauranga office. He was last interactive production manager for advertising agency Grey Worldwide.
* Bridgette Yates has become account director of Star Advertising, working with Sanitarium Health Food Company. She was last with London-based Bartle, Bogle and Hegarty.
* David Spicer is the new production manager at Masport. He has worked for Dorf Industries, Kraft Foods and Johnson and Johnson and was most recently production manager at Kohler New Zealand.
* Jennie Langley has been appointed chief executive officer of Major Accommodation Providers, which represents hotel operators. An experienced public affairs consultant and company director, she has returned from three years in the Netherlands.
* Bennie Johnston has been appointed developer with mobile applications and solutions provider Orbiz. He was previously a freelance website developer.
