PSIS has appointed Barbara Hinkley to the new role of communications manager. She was formerly manager tourism marketing at Te Papa, and before that was marketing services manager for the Mount Cook Group.
Auckland University of Technology has appointed Professor Felix Tan as head of the School of Computer and Information Sciences (SCIS). Internationally recognised for his work in the global IT field, Professor Tan has previously held visiting positions with the Department of Information Systems, National University of Singapore and Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario, Canada.
The Bank of New Zealand has appointed Jason Chan as head of business development, personal financial services. Chan will be responsible for developing marketing and customer strategies for Bank of New Zealand's personal market. He has been with the Bank of New Zealand since October 1999.
Kim Shannon has been appointed national rural manager at real estate firm Harcourts, replacing Colin Dick. Shannon's job will be to develop the company's market share in the rural property market.
Donovan Boyd Communications has appointed Eileen Lorenzo to the position of account executive. Lorenzo is a recent graduate of the bachelor of communications degree, majoring in public relations.
