Phil Keber, a general manager with Sky City Auckland, will manage Sky Riverside Hamilton, the company's third New Zealand casino.
He has been with Sky City since 1996 and was originally employed as general manager security and surveillance, after a 27-year career in the police.
Greg Remmington has been appointed executive assistant manager of The Spencer on Byron Hotel. He was previously executive assistant manager at the Waipuna Hotel.
Richard Umbers has become Progressive Enterprises' chief operating officer. He comes from the international retailer Aldi, where he was managing director of a British division.
Two external directors have been appointed to the board of Livestock Improvement. They are Graham Fraser and Phil Lough.
Fraser was chairman of NZ Dairy Board and deputy chairman of New Zealand Dairy Co-operative. Lough is chief executive officer of Sealord.
John Bell is the new Australasian operations manager of Japan-based Motorworld Corporation. He has been involved in the New Zealand motor industry since the early 1990s. Jason Rolston is New Zealand sales manager, after several years with Motorworld in Australia and Japan.
