Bell Gully has appointed three new senior associates in its Auckland office. James Bishop rejoins Bell Gully after four years in London. He is a corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in technology, outsourcing and commercial procurement; Andrea Jordan joins the corporate department in Auckland, returning to New Zealand after eight years at law firms in the UK; Anton Shead brings broad experience of property development and financing to the firm's property practice. He joins the firm from Herbert Smith in London where, as a senior associate, he advised clients on large-scale property financing, investment grade lending and acquisition financing. These latest appointments follow the return from London of Fiona Tregonning and Karl Vincent who recently joined Bell Gully's Wellington office as senior associates.
The East Care 24-hour Accident & Medical centre in Botany has appointed Jeff Barkwill as chairman of the board and Gordon Armstrong as general manager East Care Group. Barkwill has extensive experience as a company director and chief financial officer and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Institute of Directors. Armstrong is an experienced senior manager with in depth expertise in the development, implementation, and management of organisational growth and joins East Care from the management consulting industry.
Momentum has appointed Michelle Boag, where she will contribute to the existing sales and marketing and executive leasing divisions. The appointment of Boag follows Momentum's recent acquisition of her company PR People.
Richard Shields has joined the Retailworld Resourcing Group to lead the hospitality arm of the Business Hospoworld. Richard joins with an extensive background in recruitment from a global specialist recruitment agency, and UK based experience in hospitality and advertising.
